How to Apply

Become a Wellness Peer Educator with Peers CARE!

Educating, Engaging and Empowering students on campus!

Joining Peers CARE is a fun and exciting way to get involved on campus! It is also a great opportunity for you to gain leadership, presenting, and programming skills. The knowledge and skills you gain may also help you in your future career. Members become campus leaders who get to help Prevention & Wellness with fun programming and outreach events. Peers are trained on topics such as alcohol, drugs, sexual health, nutrition and stress to help promote a healthy lifestyle on campus for their fellow students.

Peers CARE applications are accepted every February for the subsequent fall semester.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Nikki Kirdahy, Coordinator of Peer Education, at or 239-745-4218. We look forward to your application!
