The Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) Nurse Educator Program prepares students for the academic nursing specialty. The emphasis of the program is the delivery of advanced nursing knowledge and leadership skills relevant to the nurse educator role. The MSN Nurse Educator program uses the core competencies outlined by the National League for Nursing (NLN) as a framework for facilitating learning through curriculum design, teaching, evaluation, and other roles and functions in which nurse faculty may participate.

Program Progression And Additional Graduation Requirements

- Apply for graduation by deadline indicated in the university calendar. Earn a minimum of 30 credit hours with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Satisfactory completion of Nurse Educator capstone project.
