Gulf Coast University's Student Union houses Baldy's
Game Room, the University Bookstore, The Perch, Student
Government, Student Clubs and Organizations, Dean
of Student Affairs, Campus Reservations, and the Student
Lounge.
The
University Bookstore is on the first floor of the
Student Union. Buy your books, FGCU apparel, accessories,
supplies, gifts, and other items.
Across
from the bookstore is Baldy's Game Room, where students
enjoy pub-style food and drinks while they play arcade
games and billiards, listen to the jukebox, and watch
their favorite sports teams on TV.
Students,
faculty, staff, and guests of the Student Union can
dine in The Perch on sandwiches, burgers, fries, pizza,
pasta, soups, salads, and more. Hot, cold, grilled,
or fried -- they have the food you like...and some
you've never tried!
Overlooking
a small lake, the Student Lounge on the second floor
is where students study, unwind, relax, and tune in
to the big-screen TV.
Available
for events, the Student Meeting Chambers and Ballrooms
are also on the second floor of the Student Union.
To
encourage and maintain student involvement, FGCU is
host to numerous student clubs and organizations. To
ensure clubs operate smoothly, the Office
of Student Life, Campus
Reservations, and Student
Government are available and conveniently located
in the Student Union.
Other
services in the Student Union: Bank of America ATM,
pay phone, snack and soda machines, copiers, and the
Information Booth.
