Emotional Wellness:

Struggling with feelings of depression, anxiety, or stress?   The Emotional Wellness group is designed to assist participants in enhancing skills to better manage mood, emotions, and behavior.  Learn from trained professionals and share effective strategies with other students.

Potential benefits of participating in the group include:

-  Learning to better manage emotions and stress

-  Learning how to cope with unexpected events

-  Connecting with others who have similar experiences to your own

-  Feeling better and having an improved outlook on life

The Emotional Wellness group is a hybrid (psycho-educational/process) group facilitated by Jill Isaacson, LMHC and Ivette Gomez, LMHC.  The group meets every Tuesday from 2:00 - 3:15p.m. during the Fall 2012 semester.  This is an open group that accepts new group members throughout the semester.  Please visit CAPS to schedule a time to meet with Jill or Ivette before attending the group.
