Bachelor of Science in Health Science

Applicants applying for admission must:

• Submit an application for admission to Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). A State University System of Florida Application for Admission and academic transcripts from every college attended are sent to the University's Office of Admissions and Recruitment, where admission to FGCU is determined. Applicants may need to submit high school transcripts to the University's Office of Admissions and Recruitment, in cases where the University Foreign Language requirement was met in high school;  and
  
  
• Submit a completed Division of Health Sciences Supplemental Application for Admission to the Division of Health Sciences;  and
  
  
• Submit a portfolio and a one to three page essay/statement of goals to the Division of Health Sciences.
  
  

Admission requirements include:

• Satisfaction of all applicable university admission requirements.

• Completion of at least 60 credit hours.
   

• Either a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.50 or a minimum grade point average of 2.75 for the most recent 30 (+/-) college credit hours.
   

• International students who speak English as a second language, must earn a minimum score of 600 on TOEFL to demonstrate proficiency in English so as to facilitate student success and learning in the program of study.

Applicants may apply for either spring or fall admission.  To assure consideration, applicants must be admitted to FGCU and supplemental application materials must be mailed to the College of Health Professions.

Application Deadlines:

• To be considered for Fall admission, the deadline for all application materials is  June 1st.
   

• To be considered for Spring admission, the deadline for all application materials is October 15th.
