FGCU Conflict Management Tutorial

Put two people together in the workplace (or anywhere else!) and there will be conflicts. In most circumstances, we are able to resolve the disputes that arise between ourselves. In other circumstances we need some guidance or extra help. The purpose of this tutorial is to help you find the best way to deal with the problem or conflict you are facing. This tutorial will provide you with useful tips about the best way to handle the situation and information that best applies to the particularities of your case.

Please click on the link beside the statement that more closely describes the current problem or conflict:

  • I am having problems with on or more coworker related to personality and/or work-related disagreements (click here)

  • I am having problems with my supervisor related to personality and/or work-related disagreements (including problems in evaluation of my work) (click here )

  • I believe the current conditions of my employment are in violation of the terms of my contract (click here)

  • A coworker or supervisor has made unwelcome sexual advances or displays inappropriate conduct (verbal or physical) of a sexual nature (click here )

  • A coworker or supervisor is discriminating or being demeaning or offensive due to stereotypes regarding my race, color, religion, age, disability, sex, national origin, marital status or veteran status (click here)
