The Evolution of Faculty Management Strategy

Overview

In mid-year 2000, existing processes and data dealing with faculty management were consolidated into the Faculty Resources Management Plan (FRMP). Currently, the FRMP serves as both

a process: It describes a course of action, beginning prior to the hiring of initial faculty and continuing through the development of the Plan itself; and
a result: The FRMP has developed into a working, living document used on a continuous basis in the critical function of Faculty Management.

Thus, it is presented here as a major step in the evolution of Faculty Management Strategy at the College of Business.
