"Continuous improvement of the learning process to insure student intellectual and professional growth is the central mission of the College." This mission includes a commitment to flexibility and appropriate change.

There are three primary dimensions to learning excellence in the College of Business.

1. Providing an effective learning process and environment which is measured against identifiable standards. 2. Insuring faculty growth and competence which strengthens the mission of the College and the University. 3. Successful service to the College, and the University, and professional constituents where such service supports the mission of Florida Gulf Coast University and its College of Business.
