Sponsored Research serves the dual role of

making the College of Business a responsive and integral component in the economic development of our Service Area; and
enabling applied faculty activity in support of faculty development and renewal.

Activity began even before the opening of the University, and steadily increased until the economic downturn in AY 2001/02.
