H. SHELTON WEEKS, Professor of Finance & Real Estate, earned his Ph.D. at the University of Alabama. Professor Weeks is the Academic Program Director for the Lucas Institute for Real Estate Development & Finance. He is the director of internship program for finance and real estate. His research interests include real estate, pedagogical issues, and corporate governance. He has published articles in a number of journals including The Appraisal Journal, Journal of Real Estate Research, Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management, Real Estate Practice & Education, Financial Practice and Education, Seniors Housing and Care Journal, and Journal of Economics & Finance. He is a member of the American Real Estate Society and the Southern Finance Association. Shelton is a sports enthusiast and enjoys golfing and fishing.
