Pre-Engineering and Undergraduate Courses
Students may complete general education and engineering prerequisite courses at FGCU for transfer to Engineering Programs at any of the five Primary FEEDS Institutions in Florida.
Graduate Courses
Graduate courses are also available through the Florida Engineering Education Delivery System (FEEDS).
FEEDS - Florida Engineering Education Delivery System
The Florida Engineering Education Delivery System (FEEDS) provides engineering and computer science courses to educational and industrial sites around the state. The use of distance learning technology makes it possible for a course that originates at one of Florida's State Universities to be delivered to any of the other Universities. In addition, courses can be delivered directly to industry sites, providing continuing education to engineers where they work.
There are three classifications of FEEDS centers. Primary Centers are those institutions where engineering courses originate. Cooperating Centers do not originate courses, but provide a place for the courses to be viewed. Private Industrial sites may be established for the delivery of FEEDS courses as well.
For specific information, students should contact the FEEDS director at their own University, and work with their own academic advisor in choosing possible FEEDS courses. This will ensure that all degree-seeking students, no matter where they are enrolled, will meet their individual program requirements. Below are the various FEEDS centers with web links and contact information.
