Graduate Admission Requirements

Criteria for Admission to the Lutgert College of Business (Including GMAT)

Applicants must meet the following criteria for admission to all graduate business programs:

The programs listed below have additional admission requirements. Click the name of the program for details.

Application Deadlines

Application deadlines for admission to graduate programs are:

  • EMBA Program - May 1
  • All other graduate programs:
    • June 1 - Fall semester
    • November 1 - Spring semester
    • No admission - Summer semester

Prior to admission to a graduate program, students may complete a maximum of nine credit hours of graduate level courses on a non degree-seeking basis. Details regarding non-degree status, including application and registration information, is available at the FGCU Graduate Studies web site.

GMAT: Graduate Management Admissions Test

"The Graduate Management Admission Test® (GMAT®) is a standardized assessment—delivered in English—that helps business schools assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management.
