J.P. Morgan Executive Speaks at LCOB Event
In conjuction with Dr. Steve Fraser's Security Analysis class, the Lucas Institute for Real Estate Development and Finance hosted a special lecture on Tuesday, March 27th by Dr. Stuart Schweitzer. The photo below was taken in the Lutgert Hall courtyard the day of the event.

Stuart A. Schweitzer
Global Markets Strategist
Stuart Schweitzer is Managing Director and Global Markets Strategist for JPMorgan Private Bank and
JPMorgan Asset Management. He is responsible for analysis of global financial markets and economies with
an emphasis on asset allocation and market strategy. He is a member of the Asset Management Global
Strategy Team (GST) and the Private Bank Investment Team (PBIT), which guide asset allocation for
JPMorgan Institutional and Private Clients, respectively. He is a senior voice of the firm on the economy,
investment outlook, and portfolio strategy. He is a frequent speaker at investment conferences, a frequent
guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV, and PBS Nightly Business Report, and is quoted regularly in the Financial
Times, Wall Street Journal and other business periodicals.
Mr. Schweitzer joined J.P. Morgan from the Federal Reserve in 1975. He joined the investment management
business in 1988, initially as the organization’s economist and subsequently as head of quantitative and
strategy research in the U.S. equity group. He became global strategist for JPMorgan Asset Management in
1999 and took on the same role for JPMorgan Private Bank in 2003.
Mr. Schweitzer is a graduate of City College of New York and holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the
University of Minnesota. A portion of his doctoral studies was conducted as a Research Fellow at the
Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C.
