Graduate Business Association
The GBA is the official body representing the graduate students in the Lutgert College of Business. Its primary mission is the development of collegiality among alumni, current graduate business students, and the faculty. A second significant mission is to provide ongoing professional growth opportunities for students, alumni, and community benefit. All graduate students are encouraged to participate in the GBA.

Undergraduate Business Association
The UBA provides undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in College of Business activities, receive recognition, and to develop leadership skills. The association informs students about FGCU Lutgert College of Business activities through bimonthly meetings and monthly newsletter. The association promotes communication and interaction among faculty, students, the administration, and the community.

Accounting Society
The Accounting Society provides students with information about careers in Accounting and about current issues facing the accounting profession. Accounting students are faced with several possible career paths. The Society provides students with an opportunity to meet with accounting professionals and learn more about various career options. Membership in the Society also provides students the opportunity to network with other accounting majors and accounting faculty.

Association of Future Information Technology Professionals
AFITP seeks to be a resource to FGCU students interested in a career in the field of information technology (IT). Its primary goal is to promote interaction between FGCU students and the IT professionals within the SW Florida community. In support of this goal we keep students informed of IT related events within the community and sponsor IT speakers and events at FGCU. Through these meetings and events students will have the opportunity to learn about the technology used in SW Florida, network with local IT professionals, and discover internship and job opportunities.

Beta Alpha Psi
Beta Alpha Psi is an honorary organization for Financial Information (accounting, finance and computer information systems) students and professionals. The primary objective of Beta Alpha Psi is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field. This includes promoting the study and practice of accounting, finance and information systems; providing opportunities for self-development, service and association among members and practicing professionals, and encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility.
Beta Alpha Psi was founded in 1919. There are approximately 270 chapters on college and university campuses with over 300,000 members initiated since Beta Alpha PSI's formation .

Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization
CEO, the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, invites students interested in business ownership and new venture initiation to meet to share information regarding entrepreneurship. With chapters on campuses throughout the U.S., the CEO club is one of the fastest growing student organizations. CEO offers excellent networking opportunities and serves as an informational resource for prospective entrepreneurs. CEO sponsors EagleBiz, an annual award for the best business founded and operated by a FGCU student.

FGCU AdPros, The AAF College Chapter
The AdPros club is the FGCU college chapter of the American Advertising Federation, the premier national association for advertisers, agencies, media, and government. ADPROS members have access to numerous programs at the local, district, national, and international levels that enhance their marketing communication skills. This includes internship opportunities, scholarships and awards, career and industry resources plus membership in Alpha Delta Sigma Honor Society. Students across all disciplines participate in the AAF National Student Advertising Competition that provides more than 3,000 college students with real world experience for a national sponsor. ADPROS members network with local and regional AdFed professionals.

Financial Managers Association
The Financial Managers Association provides members information and education on careers and current developments in the field of finance. The Association provides opportunities to enhance career choices, and serves as a liaison between finance majors and finance faculty in the Lutgert College of Business. In addition, the Association provides members with the opportunity to hear presentations from many of the area’s top financial professionals and provides networking opportunities with other finance majors and those working in the finance industry.

Society for Human Resource Management
SHRM provides students the opportunity to develop their business skills while learning from industry professionals how their organizations attract, retain, and develop their employees. This student
organization is well suited for any student interested in being a more successful and valuable employee, a
future business manager, or a human resource management professional. This is a cross-disciplinary student organization and all majors are welcome to join.

Sports Management Association
The Sport Management Association’s main goal is to facilitate the emergence of college students into the sport industry by providing opportunities for students to observe, promote, and participate in the organization and operations of sport related careers. By helping students learn more about the fields that they plan to enter, the association can be productive in creating social networks for the purpose of professional advancement. SMA is the students’ bridge from college to their career in the Sport industry.
