Gary L. Jackson, Ph.D. is the Director of the Regional Economic Research Institute (RERI) and a member of the Economics Faculty at the Lutgert College of Business. He earned his Ph.D in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, and taught at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He has served on national and international boards dealing with electricity and natural gas markets, risk management, and policy. His research interests are in economic forecasting and impact analysis, regulatory economics, industrial organization, and regional economic studies.
