Convenience, comprehensiveness and conciseness describe the new Reference, Research and Resource Center at the Small Business Development Center.
FGCU Library officials and the SBDC staff recently joined forces to collect materials that are the most useful in meeting the needs of the small business community and they put them within easy reach. They reviewed thousands of material and ultimately collected over 500 volumes for inclusion in the new facility. Each item has been catalogued, entered into the primary FGCU library system and shelved within the offices of the SBDC.
A sample of available titles suggest that the choices for inclusion have hit the mark. You will find "Business know-how: an operational guide for home-based and microsized businesses with limited budgets," "Small business management and entrepreneur's guidebook," "Streetwise small business turnaround: revitalize your struggling or stagnant enterprise," and "High profit financial management for your small business."
