WRITING A BUSINESS PLAN LOAN PACKAGE

If you are serious about committing to the growth and development of your business, you will need a written business plan.

This series, Writing a Business Plan, will help you understand the different functions of your business plan. A template and an outline to help you write your plan are provided. An added benefit is the understanding of the parts of a plan that you will gain during the program. This is particularly important if you need to explain your business to a lender.

The series is divided into four weeks of educational instruction and homework as outlined by the following topics:

Week 1 - Learn the importance and needs for a business plan. Clearly define the purpose for your business plan. Understand the needs of your business, and your product or service strengths.

Week 2 - Review your management skills or deficiencies and human resource needs. Identify your top 3 competitors and conduct a through analysis of your target market.
