Chambers of Commerce Enter Into an Historic Mutual Support Agreement

PROCLAMATION OF MUTUAL SUPPORT

WHEREAS, the undersigned Chambers of Commerce are committed to the improvement of the social, professional, civic, cultural and educational climate of the region; and

WHEREAS, the undersigned collectively seek the advancement of economic vitality and quality of life in our region; and

WHEREAS, the undersigned have joined together to establish and strengthen a mutually beneficial working relationship.

NOW THEREFORE, the parties to this Proclamation of Mutual Support do hereby agree as follows:

  1. To identify and provide opportunities for networking and learning for Board members and all Chamber members in good standing.
  2. To provide joint assistance in the event of natural disaster or destruction of premises.
  3. To identify and provide means of effective communication between organizations.
  4. To work together to define, analyze and address the challenges we face together.
  5. To promote a better understanding of the challenges we face individually.
  6. To communicate, work cooperatively and share a common vision of our individual and collective goals.
  7. To promote the success and well-being of not for profit Chambers of Commerce.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned have placed their signatures on behalf of their respective organizations in the spirit of coming together, working together and staying together.
