Services Provided

The Division of Sponsored Projects and Programs provides Customized Professional Training Programs tailor-made to businesses, non-profit organizations and government agencies. The programs are offered in virtually any format at any time, saving an organization time and money. To meet specific needs, the Division of Sponsored Projects and Programs has developed a wide variety of disciplines and subjects to choose from.

From one-day seminars to multi-day certificate programs, curriculum can be delivered on-site or via distance learning technology. Content is designed to enhance and optimize participant retention and application through the use of industry-specific examples. Illustrations may be part of a current strategic push, or may have special historical meaning to the organization and industry.

Training Topics
The Division of Sponsored Projects and Programs is proud of our ability to customize training for each of the corporations and organizations we serve. The framework for each program is taken from our Seminar Series, which includes a varied collection of seminars conducted by FGCU professionals and business partners. For more information, refer to

Customized programs cover a wide spectrum of training subjects. Examples of some of these areas include:

Customer Service teaches the organization how to develop and maintain a customer service culture within the organization and develop customer service stars among your employees.
Business Management includes several levels of training that will provide an organization's employees with applied skills and tools of business management.
Financial Planning is designed for entry and advanced users of the organization's financial data that will enhance their impact as fiscal managers and business partners of the organization.
Information Technology provides practical, applied knowledge to an organization's employees in the use of technology for managing and processing information in the organization.
Leadership Development provides skills to managers and leaders that will enhance their ability to make value added strategic and operational contributions to the organization.
Management Development includes a broad range of management topics, ranging from the management of human resources and performing appraisals to building teams.
Mediation and Conflict Resolution is designed to equip employees and managers with skills and tools for responding to employee conflicts and transforming workplace conflict into relationships that work.
Quality Improvement is designed to provide an organization's employees with the skills necessary to develop quality systems that can be used to give management the data necessary for identifying, managing, and measuring improvement opportunities.
Strategic Management equips managers with the value added, strategic and operational skills necessary for developing and executing strategic plans successfully.
Strategic Marketing provides strategic skills to managers and marketing professionals in conducting market and needs analysis and developing comprehensive marketing plans for the organization.
E-Commerce provides skills and tools to organizations in the development and implementation of business-to-business and e-commerce programs.
