Challenger Baseball, for children with disabilities that prevent them from participating in normal recreational activities such as the baseball summer league.

Job Description:

Assist children with disabilities (nonviolent) in all aspects of playing organized baseball (very informal), for an hour or so every Saturday morning now until school ends for the summer. We play at Lehigh, Bonita Springs, and Three Oaks parks on an alternating schedule.

Watching children hit a ball for the first time, making new friends who will never forget the time you spend with them, knowing you were able to change a child's life, and help them do things they normally couldn't do.

Additional Information:

The games are usually held Saturday mornings at 10 and usually only last an hour or so. Ther will also be several other special events we participate in that the helpers will be included if they so desire.
