The Southeastern Network of Youth and Family Services is a private, nonprofit membership organizaiton of eighty community-based agencies serving youth and their families in the southeast. These agencies address a wide variety of needs through outreach services, prevention and education programs, temporary shelter for youth in crisis, individual and family counseling, aftercare, and advocacy. Since 1977 the Network has provided the volunteers, staff, and board members of these agencies with the skill building, technical assistance, advocacy support, and information they need to adequately serve their clients. The Network has a history of providing high quality skill building opportunities and technical assistance to youth services providers. It presently serves as the Regional Training and Technical Assistance Provider for all federally funded Family and Youth Services Bureau basic runaway centers, transitional living programs, and street outreach programs in the southeast. SEN trainers provide knowledge and skill building programs on-site and in state and regional locations in response to identified needs. |
