How To Do Business With Government Agencies Conference Co-Sponsored By FGCU and FDOT
FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University’s Procurement Technical Assistance Center and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) are hosting the first “Immokalee FGCU-FDOT Procurement Opportunity Conference and Networking Event” from 10 a.m. to
4 p.m., Wednesday, April 11 in the Immokalee High School cafeteria.
The purpose of this free event is to educate business owners about the opportunities that exist or are being planned in and around the Immokalee area with the various local, state and other purchasing agencies. Often local business owners will overlook the opportunity to sell goods and services to local, county, state and federal agencies. This opportunity conference and networking event will provide business owners the chance to become certified minority and HUBZone vendors with local, state and federal entities, and to find out about opportunities to bring state and federal dollars into the community through increased sales and job creation.
Speakers from as far away as Tallahassee will be brought in for the conference.
Business owners located in the Immokalee and surrounding areas are invited to attend and find out about the new opportunities for doing business with government agencies.
