Proposal Writing Workshop Offered by FGCU Florida Institute of Government
FORT MYERS, FL - Nonprofit and government employees are invited to attend a one-day workshop "Proposal Writing" presented by the Florida Institute of Government at Florida Gulf Coast University from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16. The workshop will be at the Center for Professional Development at Edison Community College.
With philanthropy at an all-time high, it is wise to take advantage of various grant opportunities that are available. This workshop will focus on how to research potential funding sources in order to match grant opportunities with organizational needs. It will examine the proposal writing process and provide instruction related to writing successful proposals for your organization.
Objectives will be to discuss where to locate potential funding sources, how to select the best potential funding source for your organization, and how to write a proposal that has the best chance of being funded.
Tom Roberts, Director of Research and Sponsored Programs at FGCU, is instructor for the program.
