FGCU Breaks Ground on Sugden Welcome Center

FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University will honor Herbert and Margaret Sugden of Naples with a groundbreaking ceremony for the Sugden Welcome Center at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19 on FGCU Boulevard near the campus entrance.

A major gift from the Sugdens earlier this year made the Welcome Center possible. The philanthropy of the Sugden family is well known in southwest Florida. They have been residents of Naples for more than 25 years.
