FGCU Kleist Health Education Center Sponsors Food Cravings Lecture
FORT MYERS, FL - The Kleist Health Education Center at Florida Gulf Coast University invites the public to attend a lecture luncheon “A Holistic Approach to Managing Your Food Cravings” with keynote speaker and author Catherine Christie from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 25 in the Ben Hill Griffin Rooms 170 & 172.
Christie is co-author of I’d Kill for a Cookie and Eat to Stay Young. Christie will teach about stress food connections and strategies to control food cravings.
Author of Joyful Yoga, June Denison, will also speak about guided meditation and conscious eating. Instructor in the School of Nursing, Donna Wolf, will present an interactive and dynamic exploration of our daily stressors and how we cope with them.
Registration for the lecture luncheon is $40 now and $45 after Jan. 4. Early reservations are recommended. Space is limited. Continuing Education Units are available.
