The Tax Man Cometh: SBDC Offers Free Breakfast Seminar to Discuss Tax Extensions
FORT MYERS, FL - The end of income tax season is fast approaching and the Florida Gulf Coast University Small Business Development Center offers a free seminar and continental breakfast, in partnership with Reynolds & Associates CPAs, P.A., from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 4 at the Galleria on Vanderbilt to discuss personal tax extensions.
“Instead of rushing and not receiving full tax credits, tax exemptions, etc., it is sometimes wiser to file for a personal tax extension,” said Nancy Reynolds of Reynolds & Associates.
The seminar will focus on options and information about personal tax extensions, “the way, when and how,” since the tax deadline is nearing, she said.
The presentation and breakfast are free to the public. Reservations are
required because space is limited.
Reynolds & Associates is a 2001 Blue Chip Community Business Award honoree. The firm provides accounting, auditing, consulting, business valuation, court litigation and tax services to condominiums, homeowners associations, real estate, development companies, professionals, businesses and individuals.
The SBDC is operated by FGCU and the U.S. Small Business Administration. It serves to design and deliver a collection of programs directed toward strengthening the economic benefit of Southwest Florida. Services include free counseling and educational workshops.
