Criminal Justice Professionals Invited to 'Weapons of Terror' Workshop June 4
FORT MYERS, FL - The International Center for Justice and Forensic Studies invites criminal justice professionals and students to learn about the function and purpose of various weapons at “Weapons of Terror” from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4 in Reed Hall Room 249 at Florida Gulf Coast University.
The Center will display firearms and cite their specific uses. Presenters will discuss types of munitions and explosives, incendiary, chemical and biological weapons, and stage demonstrations of various booby-trap devices. Attendees will learn about the tactics that terrorists use to maximize impact as well as strategies for deployment and handling of weapons of terror.
The cost of the workshop is $75 for professionals and $45 for students.
The Center is a part of the Center for Public and Social Policy in the College of Professional Studies.
