FGCU Announces Major Gift to Foundation for New Building, Academic Program
FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University announces a multimillion-dollar gift that will greatly enhance a new academic program during a press conference at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16 in the reception area and lobby of the Campus Support Complex.
The momentous gift funds operating costs of the Resort and Hospitality Management degree program and also enables construction of a new signature building on campus to house and equip the program, creating a living laboratory for training students enrolled in the degree program. The gift is eligible for state matching.
