FORT MYERS, FL - Managers and employees from both the private and public sectors are invited to attend a half-day course “The Fish! Experience…Energizing the Workplace” presented by the Florida Institute of Government at Florida Gulf Coast University as part of its Professional Development Series from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 28 at the FGCU Broadcast Building, Room 111.

Allison Blankenship is instructor for the program. She has more than two decades of hands-on experience in management, marketing and communications. She is an effective and persuasive communicator with the proven ability to sell ideas and teaches how to apply successful strategies and hands-on principles to make organizations less stressful and more profitable.
Blankenship’s many years of working with renowned companies like the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Wal-Mart, Textron Financial and Bank One give her experience to show how to structure an organization to achieve immediate results. Blankenship was named an Outstanding Woman of America and was president of the Florida Speakers Association.
