"Hire the Right Person the First Time" Workshop Offered by FGCU Florida Institute of Government
FORT MYERS, FL - Managers and supervisors from both the private and public sectors are invited to attend a one-day workshop “Hire the Right Person the First Time” presented by the Florida Institute of Government at Florida Gulf Coast University as part of its Professional Development Series from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Friday, March 14 at the FGCU Broadcast Building Room 111.
It is critical now more than ever for a business to be proactive in designing recruitment strategies and processes. The course teaches everything that needs to be known and participants receive an interview guide with sample forms.

Lori Burke is instructor for the program. Burke, SPHR, has been involved in the human resources field for more than 14 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is nationally certified as a senior professional in human resources by the Society of Human Resources Management. She has held officer and board member positions for HR Collier, the Naples chapter of HR professionals, which is an affiliate of SHRM.
