FGCU Presents Certification Courses on First Aid, Adult CPR/AED

WHO     Office of Graduate Studies and Continual Learning, for the general public

WHAT     First Aid and Adult CPR/AED certification courses offered by the American Red Cross

WHEN     2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, March 28 OR 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 5
     Pre-registration is required and seating is limited.

WHERE     Academic Building III Room 219

WHY     To give individuals in the workplace the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Various demonstrations and case studies will be presented. Participants will practice skills on a mannequin and take a post-test. Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive a CPR certification card.

COST     $25; includes books and CPR certification card from the American Red Cross
