American Red Cross Hosts Support Group for Military Families

FORT MYERS, FL - The Collier County Chapter of the American Red Cross will host a support group for families of military personnel from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, May 8 at the American Red Cross, 2610 Northbrooke Plaza Dr. in Naples.

There will be separate activities/groups for children and adults, including a visited by Florida Gulf Coast University’s Gulf Coast Pet Partners animal-assisted therapy team.

Special activities will be provided for adults. The purpose of the group is to meet others who have a family member serving overseas, and share interests and concerns.

Attendees are invited to bring a picture of the service member to be placed on the “Salute to Our Armed Forces” bulletin board.
