CEPRI Meets Aug. 13 at FGCU; Public Invited to Attend

FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University will host the next meeting of the Florida Council for Education Policy, Research and Improvement from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 13 in the Whitaker Hall Sprint Room.

CEPRI () is a citizen board for independent policy research and analysis, housed under the Florida Office of Legislative Services. The Council is required by the legislature to conduct and review education research, provide analysis on education progress, and provide evaluation of education issues of statewide concern.

CEPRI meetings are open to the public and agenda items may be taken out of order at the discretion of the chairman, with the concurrence of the council.

Akshay Desai of St. Petersburg is chairman and Bob Taylor of Fort Myers is vice chairman.
