FGCU Hosts Second Annual Compuware Gulf Coast Clash Hockey Tournament Jan. 16-18

FORT MYERS, FL - The Florida Gulf Coast University Hockey Club’s second annual Compuware Gulf Coast Clash tournament kicks off 8:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 16 in the TECO Arena blue rink with No. 3-tied FGCU Eagles taking on No. 8 University of Central Florida Knights.
The three-day, nine-game event brings together five of the top 10 teams in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (
Other teams competing for the Gulf Coast Cup include Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Kennesaw State University (No. 7-GA), University of South Florida (tied No. 3) and Florida Atlantic University (No. 9), which beat FGCU to win last year’s tournament.
Individual tournament game tickets are $5 at the door. The FGCU Hockey Club will honor unused regular season game tickets during the event.
