FGCU Presents Conference on Peer Assisted Study Sessions

WHO     FGCU Center for Academic Assistance, for administrators, faculty, coordinators, mentors and student leaders who are interested in learning more about successful retention programs

WHAT     “Conference on Peer Assisted Study Sessions” featuring 16 participating institutions of higher learning from around the country and a special symposium on student retention

WHEN     Friday, Oct. 24
     Registration: 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
     Conference: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WHERE     FGCU Whitaker Hall Sprint Room

WHY     To look into and discuss issues such as productive group learning sessions, use of student leaders in supplemental instruction and as instructors in interactive-problem solving classes, excel learning groups, and peer-assisted study session plans
