WHY Robert Greygrass is of Lakota and Cherokee heritage and has been nationally recognized by tribal leaders for his traditional storytelling. During 1995-97, he was onstage with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Ore., and has published poetry and stories. Greygrass travels around the world performing in theaters, schools and public venues. His training and experience as a counselor working with addicts, prisoners and the outcasts of our society figures often in his public presentations.
