FGCU Spring Student Art Exhibition Opens April 23
FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University invites the public to the spring student art exhibition and opening reception 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, April 23 in the Arts Complex art gallery. The exhibit runs through Friday, April 30.
Approximately 100 pieces of the finest student work this spring in the areas of sculpture, drawing, painting and ceramics will be exhibited during the biannual show.
"The students have been working hard on many pieces during their semester and are finally able to be recognized for their hard work and creative efforts," gallery director Kate Kramer said. "To be placed in the student art exhibition is an honor and accomplishment to be celebrated."
FGCU art faculty Patricia J. Fay, Kate Kramer, Morgan T. Paine, Sal Pirrone, Carl Schwartz and Mary Sullivan Voytek juried the exhibition.

Admission is free and the gallery is open to the public 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, excluding University holidays.
