FGCU First Day of Classes Maintains Increase in Student Enrollment

FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University admissions officials announced student enrollment today passed the 6,300 mark, higher than was expected for the first day of classes and up from last fall's 5,800 total.

Regular registration continues through Friday, Aug. 27. Late registration is Monday, Aug. 30 through Friday, Sept. 3.

The last day to pay registration fees is Friday, Sept. 3. FGCU assesses a $100 late payment fee after Sept. 3.

Students who need to drop courses for which they had enrolled may do so without penalty and FGCU will refund tuition that has been paid.

The FGCU Charlotte Center begins classes the week of Sept. 7. For information in Charlotte, call (941) 255-7414.
