WHAT "Storm Chaser Community Walking Program" kickoff meeting
WHEN 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 3
WHERE Charlotte County Cultural Center
WHY The community walking program is designed to motivate people of all ages, including those in nursing homes and assisted living centers, to incorporate walking into their life on a regular basis. Participants walk indoors or outdoors, with friends or alone, with a cane, walker or even self-propelled in a wheelchair.
