WHO FGCU Florida Institute of Government, for managers, supervisors and employees from both the private and public sectors
WHAT "Certified Public Manager Level I" full-day workshop. The seminar is designed for supervisors and managers to learn management of individual performance. The program introduces fundamental concepts and techniques of modern management as applied to a governmental setting. Level I emphasizes goal setting as essential in developing and maintaining a motivated and productive work climate. The Level I course describes and illustrates modern management attitudes, practices and techniques and focuses on manager employee relationships. CPM levels I, II, and III are certified by the Department of Management Services as meeting the requirements and learning objectives of the management components of the Basic Supervisory Skills Training Program. Jim LaRue is instructor for the program.
