WHO     FGCU Florida Institute of Government, for managers and employees from both the private and public sectors

WHAT     "How to Build Better Work Relationships in Five Simple Steps" half-day workshop from the Florida Institute of Government. The course helps participants learn that successful careers and businesses are built on successful relationships. The workshop focuses on the critical competencies of building positive and productive relationships. Included is a personal communication profile that targets how information is often miscommunicated and what can be done to overcome it. Participants learn how to reduce conflict and become a "conscious communicator" who thinks before speaking. Allison Blankenship is instructor.
