FGCU Announces Course Offerings at New Cape Coral Center

FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University offers seven credit courses this summer at the new FGCU Cape Coral Center to provide easy access to higher education in western Lee County.
The FGCU Cape Coral Center is located at 1020 Cultural Park Blvd. S. and houses both the FGCU Small Business Development Center and the FGCU Renaissance Academy, which offers non-credit continual learning courses and events.
"In keeping with our mission to meet the academic, cultural and regional needs of Southwest Florida, Florida Gulf Coast University is delighted to be offering for-credit courses and continual learning opportunities to the Cape Coral community," provost and vice president for Academic Affairs Bonnie L. Yegidis said.
"Through our newly established Cape Coral Center, we invite the citizens of Cape Coral to pursue their goals for higher education and to explore their professional and personal interests through our diverse course offerings and seminars offered in partnership with the Small Business Development Center and Renaissance Academy."
Courses offered Summer Session A, May 9 through June 17, include:
MAC 2233 Elementary Calculus Mon. & Wed. 5:30 p.m. to 8:50 p.m.
STA 2023 Statistical Methods Tues. & Thurs. 5:30 pm. to 8:50 p.m.
Courses offered Summer Session B, June 20 through July 29, include:
CCJ 1100 Intro to Law Enforcement Mon. & Wed. 6:30 p.m. to 9:55 p.m.
ENC 3213 Professional Writing Tues. & Thurs. 11:30 a.m. to 2:55 p.m.
Courses offered Summer Session C, May 9 through July 15, include:
PLA 4116 Research & Doc Drafting Mon. & Wed. 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Courses offered Summer Session D, June 6 through Aug. 12, include:
PLA 3700 Ethics for Legal Asst. Tues. 6:30 p.m. to 9:55 p.m.
CCJ 3610 Theories of Criminal Behavior Wed. 6:30 p.m. to 9:55 p.m.
