WHO FGCU Florida Institute of Government, for managers and employees from both the private and public sectors
WHAT "How to be Assertive without Being Pushy" half-day workshop from the Florida Institute of Government's Interpersonal Skills Programs. The program teaches how to be assertive in awkward or uncomfortable situations and helps participants speak up while being respectful, able to get along and able to get work done. Participants learn a simple four-step technique to speak to anyone that is based on respect and personal power. Allison Blankenship is instructor for the course.
