FGCU Florida Institute of Government Presents "Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Program" Workshop

WHO     FGCU Florida Institute of Government, for managers and employees from both the private and public sectors

WHAT     "Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Program" full-day workshop from the Florida Institute of Government's Interpersonal Skills Programs. The MBTI is a widely accepted personality assessment used to identify individual personality types and how these types affect preferences and behavior. Many organizations utilize the tool to increase internal communication, understanding and productivity. Participants take the MBTI, receive individual results, and gain an understanding of the impact on personal effectiveness. Reid Lennertz is instructor for the course.

     To identify and learn about personality types and develop greater self-awareness of behavior patterns

     To use knowledge of type as a source of personal and professional growth and development

     Psychological type can influence everyday workplace activities such as responding to conflict, work style, being part of a team, making decisions, dealing with change and communication
