WHO     FGCU Florida Institute of Government, for managers, supervisors and employees from both the private and public sectors

WHAT     "New Ideas for Better Boards" half-day workshop. The workshop provides executive directors or board members with best practices in good governance. Topics include consent agendas, executive sessions, nine steps to building a better board and keys to an effective board-executive director relationship. The workshop includes interactive discussions based on case studies and provides handouts for participants to use with their boards. Shelley Robertson is instructor for the program.
