FGCU Invites Media to Less Lethal Weapons Munitions Testing

WHAT Testing 12 gauge beanbag munitions to determine effect of barrel length and distance on projectile accuracy

WHERE FGCU

WHY A total of 700 rounds will be fired and the results recorded by a team of student researchers. The projectile drop rates are used to modify law enforcement less lethal weapons training, leading to a reduction in suspect injuries.
