WHY The Service Learning Project to Dominican Republic is FGCU's student-centered international community engagement and leadership experience. For the past seven years, FGCU students have traveled to the Dominican Republic during Spring Break to work with impoverished children. The annual presentation is one way to bring the realities of these children to the public.
