'Fair Housing Symposium' April 27
FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance and the Lee County Office of Equal Opportunity sponsor "Partnership in Action," a fair housing symposium in recognition of Fair Housing Month 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 27 at the Embassy Suites-Estero.
Attendees will hear trends and information from nationally recognized presenters including board member of National Community Reinvestment Coalition Stella Adams, president and CEO of Ardinger Consultants and Associations Robert Ardinger, manager for Housing & Real Estate Division in City of Fort Myers Ericka Cousley, and president of National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in Collier County Anthony Denson. Manager for Lee County Office of Equal Opportunity Paul Valenti opens the symposium. Topics include predatory lending, reasonable accommodations, modifications and accessibility guidelines.
