"Reading Connections" Program

WHO FGCU Center for Academic Achievement, for the public
WHAT "Reading Connections" an eight-week self-paced computer guided program designed to increase reading speed with a high level of comprehension. Sessions are Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays.
WHEN 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Mondays, May 7 to June 25 or;
1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesdays, May 9 to June 27 or;
1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Fridays, May 11 to June 29

WHY Reading Connections is a self-paced program. Each participant's reading speed and comprehension level is tested in the beginning and at end of the program. Previous results show that most students more than doubled their reading speed while increasing or maintaining their level of comprehension after participating in this program.
COST $160 for current FGCU students, Edison students, faculty and staff
$200 for non FGCU students - Note: This course is recommended for grades 12 and above
