FORT MYERS, FL - In conjunction with Florida Gulf Coast University's 10 year anniversary celebration, the Institute of Government presents "Developing World-Class Employees," a conference that showcases trainers through innovative workshops that focus on successfully managing others, scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 23 in the Student Union ballroom.
Participants will have an opportunity to preview a variety of dynamic speakers available through the Institute of Government while learning practical skills to apply in the workplace.
Topics include "Creating an Empowered Workforce" with David Kelley; "Communication Excellence.Success Needs a Partner" with Ava Fluty; "Strategic Alignment or Relying on Luck? - Developing a Leadership Training Plan that Really Works" with Kimberly Devlin and Ronnie Glotzbach; "Seven Secrets of World-Class Employees" with Lorna Kibbey; "Slowdown You Move Too Fast - Pull Back from Your Stress Cliff" with Jackie Ferguson; and "The Leaders Edge: What Makes Leaders Successful" with David Essel.
The cost for the showcase is $129 and includes a continental breakfast and lunch.
